BBC Ten Pieces is a music resource we use in school to promote listening to a wide range of musical styles and composers.  The piece ‘Short Ride in a Fast Machine’ is a modern work based on the principles of minimalism.  You will hear that the music has repeated patterns over a steady beat.

You need to use this as inspiration for your very own fast machine!

The activity can be extended with further listening and ideas.
